Pratt & Whitney is seeking individuals to transform the future of flight by becoming Certified Operators for machining and grinding operations. This entry-level role involves a 3-week training program followed by on-the-job instruction in setting up and operating NC milling/grinding machines and vertical turret lathes. Selected candidates will perform routine production operations, verify work conformance to specifications, and contribute to resolving machining problems alongside engineering and quality teams.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate NC milling or grinding machines for production operations
Verify conformance of finished parts to specifications using precision instruments
Perform total preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure operational readiness
Collaborate with engineers and quality assurance to resolve machining problems
Obtain operator certification to accept or reject manufactured parts
