WellPower (a trade name of the Mental Health Center of Denver) is Colorado’s largest nonprofit community mental health center, founded in 1989 and known locally and nationally as a model for innovative, effective behavioral health care. Serving more than 20,000 people each year, it provides comprehensive services across the lifespan from 30+ sites and nearly 200 community locations, including outpatient treatment, medication management, crisis response, and supportive counseling. WellPower takes an integrated approach that addresses social determinants of health—offering supportive housing, education and employment supports, financial health services, food access, and other basic needs—so people get the wraparound supports needed to thrive.
