Master Thesis - Loudspeaker Array Beamforming Algorithms

This thesis opportunity focuses on evaluating how real-world imperfections in loudspeaker arrays, such as driver variations and acoustic leakage, impact beamforming algorithm performance. Students will measure and characterize these physical deviations, quantify their effects on beam focus, and compare theoretical results against experimental data. The role involves investigating calibration methods and assessing design factors to improve algorithm robustness.
