Master's Thesis in Composite Materials Testing

This Master's thesis project at Saab Dynamics AB focuses on evaluating the applicability of established composite test methods, originally developed for thermoset materials, to Automated Fiber Placement (AFP)-manufactured thermoplastic and thermoset composites. The role involves identifying which test methods can be directly applied, which have limitations, and how differences in material systems and manufacturing processes influence test outcomes. The position is suitable for two students at the end of their Master's degree in mechanical or materials engineering.
