The Mate assists the Master with the safe and efficient operation of the Tug, managing all towing operations and deck evolutions. This role involves navigating the vessel, conducting docking and undocking procedures, and serving as the First Line Supervisor for the Deck Department. The position also includes assisting with maintaining the well-being of the crew.
