About this role

Collins Aerospace seeks a Metallurgist to join the Materials and Process Lab in Cheshire, CT, focusing on analyzing inertial measurement sensors and systems. This role involves performing analytical testing and failure analyses to support root cause investigations, product design, and qualification efforts for material substitutions. Perform analytical testing including micro-sectioning and microstructural identification

Produce detailed reports, procedures, and documentation for corrective actions
