Materials Area

The Materials Area is responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures, and material control systems to ensure inventory levels are maintained and materials are ordered efficiently. This role involves coordinating the movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering teams while ensuring security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation and system reviews. The position requires conducting physical inventories, leading cycle counts, and auditing shipments to assure quality and accuracy. Additionally, the role includes preparing reports for upper management and maintaining databases for inventory and routing information.
