About this role

This role supports the introduction of new materials and components at Abbott's Kilkenny manufacturing site by troubleshooting challenges and optimizing yield. The position involves conducting root cause analysis, running Design of Experiments, and applying LEAN methodologies to drive operational excellence. Candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Validation, Operations, and Global Engineering to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

Identify root cause of component-related manufacturing issues using structured problem-solving techniques
Develop and analyze Design of Experiments for continuous improvement activities
Apply LEAN methodologies to drive operational excellence and efficiency
Support Validation activities related to material changes and Quality Incidents
Mentor junior associates and provide technical support to engineers within the group
