Materials Engineer

This role involves determining the selection and specification of materials, including castings, forgings, and fabrications, for design and manufacturing processes. The position requires ensuring compliance with customer, client, and regulatory requirements while collaborating with the design team to deliver economical and fit-for-purpose solutions. The role also encompasses writing technical specifications for welding, non-destructive testing, and coatings, as well as conducting supplier audits and liaising with regulatory bodies.
