Materials Technician II-1

The Materials Technician II-1 is a detail-oriented member of the Distribution Services team responsible for supply chain activities, including ordering and replenishing medical and surgical products, verifying product integrity, and confirming order accuracy. This role serves as the key liaison between the Materials Management department and various clinical and non-clinical departments to ensure appropriate product stocking for patient care needs. The position involves conducting inventory, ordering supplies using Lawson Materials Information System (MMIS), handheld technology, and Pyxis automated supply stations, and providing accurate usage and compliance reports to nursing management.
