This thesis position involves modeling ABB Dynafin blades to analyze hydrodynamic and cavitation-induced noise using Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations. The role focuses on understanding how blade geometry influences noise and proposing design optimizations to reduce vibrations and acoustic emissions. The student will conduct literature studies, perform CFD modeling, and compare different blade designs to recommend improvements.
