About this role
This is a mining engineering co-op/intern position with Elk Valley Resources in Sparwood, BC, starting May 2026 for 8 or 12 months. The role supports mine planning and technical services within a large steelmaking coal operation. Students gain hands-on experience in real-world mining operations while receiving mentorship from experienced professionals. The position is based at mine sites in the Elk Valley region, offering exposure to both office and field work.
