About this role

The Shipboard Motor Transport Mechanic maintains, services, inspects, and repairs combustion-powered automotive vehicles, over-the-road trucks, and other motor transport equipment. This role supports the Marine Corps' Prepositioning Program with duty assignments aboard ships in Guam, Saipan, or Diego Garcia. The position requires a U.S. citizen with relevant automotive repair experience and the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

Maintain, service, inspect, and repair combustion-powered automotive vehicles
Perform maintenance and logistics services for the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Navy
Repair over-the-road trucks, light combat vehicles, and other motor transport equipment
