MDS Coordinator

The MDS Coordinator coordinates the nursing aspects of RAI MDS, HCFA Medicare, DADS, and RMHP programs, including skilled care screening, admissions, and certification for continued stay. This role involves monitoring patient assignments to Resource Utilization Groups (RUGs), managing MDS schedules, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure accurate clinical reporting and documentation. The position requires maintaining valid nursing licensure and working closely with the Director of Nursing to support patient care and regulatory compliance.
