MDS Coordinator

The MDS Coordinator is a Registered Nurse responsible for the supervision, coordination, and timely completion of Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments, care plans, and medical records for residents. This role ensures compliance with HCFA and Medicare guidelines, facilitates care plan conferences, and supports effective communication across departments. The position also involves serving as a staff nurse when needed and assisting the Director of Nursing with policy development.
