MDS Coordinator

The MDS Coordinator is a Registered Nurse responsible for the supervision, coordination, and timely completion of Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments, care plans, and medical records for residents. This role ensures compliance with HCFA and Medicare guidelines, monitors MDS electronic submissions, and facilitates care plan conferences. The position also involves serving as a staff nurse when needed and supporting the Director of Nursing with medical records policies.
