Mechanic 2nd Class

The Mechanic 2nd Class maintains and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment within a Waste-to-Energy facility, utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems for work orders and parts tracking. This role involves troubleshooting, performing preventative maintenance, and operating mobile machinery while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The position requires proficiency in welding practices and the ability to lead the mechanic shop in the absence of the lead mechanic.
