Mechanic Diesel

The Mechanic Diesel is responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicle malfunctions, performing minor and major repairs on DOT trucks and equipment, and conducting regular preventative maintenance. The role involves examining vehicles to determine probable causes of problems, performing engine performance and wiring diagnostics, and maintaining accurate records of repairs. The position requires familiarity with various systems including spring and air suspension, hydraulic, air brake, and A/C systems, as well as general welding skills.
