Mechanic - Fleet

The Mechanic - Fleet position maintains and repairs the Town of La Plata's fleet and equipment, including refuse trucks, snow and salt trucks, police vehicles, and light/medium-duty vehicles, to ensure safe and reliable services. The role involves performing full-cycle preventive maintenance, minor repairs, field repairs, and after-hours emergency support. The position also partners with staff to record and manage Town fixed assets and maintenance records.
