Mechanic

Under general supervision, this role performs skilled mechanical work in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of vehicles, light and heavy equipment, and the installation of computerized equipment. The incumbent is responsible for fleet maintenance, including pre-maintenance, repairs, inspections, vendor negotiations, and assisting with vehicle purchasing. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Mechanic Supervisor.
