Mechanic

The Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on the district's automotive diesel equipment while promoting safety and housekeeping standards. The role requires operating school buses as a substitute driver when necessary and maintaining accurate maintenance records for all vehicles and equipment. This position reports to the Shop Foreman and may involve other duties as assigned by the Shop Foreman or Director of Transportation.
