Mechanic

The Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and diagnostic duties of the District's vehicles and related equipment under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor. The role involves restoring buses and support vehicles to serviceable condition, performing safety and preventive maintenance inspections, and operating shop equipment to diagnose and fix vehicle problems. Candidates may be hired at the Mechanic A, B, or C level based on their experience and qualifications.
