Renishaw is seeking a Mechanical Design and Development Engineer to support the production and continuous improvement of kinematic spindle probes and associated accessories. The role involves solving complex engineering problems, managing design changes, and collaborating with manufacturing and global stakeholders to ensure product quality and reliability. Candidates will work within a hybrid environment to drive technical ownership and deliver improvements across high-value machine tool probing solutions.

Responsibilities

Support production of kinematic spindle probes and associated interfaces
Perform engineering drafting duties including CAD model updates and BOM verification
Drive continuous improvement projects for existing product lines
Collaborate with manufacturing and global stakeholders to solve engineering problems
Manage formal design change management processes for product development
