Mechanical Design Manager

The Mechanical Design Manager leads the mechanical design function, comprising the Mechanical Engineering and CAD teams within the Hardware Engineering department, to develop marine navigation and bridge systems for government and naval markets. The role is accountable for the people, processes, tools, and technical quality behind all mechanical design output, ensuring teams are adequately resourced, trained, and mentored to deliver designs that meet technical, manufacturing, cost, and schedule requirements. The position requires a thorough understanding of mechanical and structural design for shipboard environments, as well as proficiency in managing resources, schedules, and engineering changes.
