About this role

AV is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of complex RF and electromechanical systems within the Hyper-RF division. The role involves creating 3D models, performing structural and thermal analyses, and ensuring designs meet environmental and manufacturability requirements for radar and wireless communications applications. Candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects from concept through production while mentoring junior engineers and maintaining strict configuration management standards.

Responsibilities

Lead mechanical design and development of complex RF system assemblies and enclosures
Perform structural, thermal, and vibration analyses to validate designs against requirements
Collaborate with electrical and software engineers to ensure seamless system integration
Drive designs from concept through prototype qualification and mass production phases
Develop and maintain complete technical data packages including drawings and bills of materials
