About this role

Junior Mechanical Engineer at Knightscope supporting product development for hardware platforms like K1, K1H, and H1, contributing to mechanical design, component integration, and enclosure development.

Responsibilities

Support mechanical design and integration for the H1 wearable platform and K1/K1H robot platforms across prototype phases of product development
Evaluate and integrate electrical components into wearable and robotic configurations
Identify and resolve thermal constraints within a compact, body-worn form factor
Develop enclosure, mounting, and packaging solutions for electronic components
Collaborate closely with electrical, software, and system engineering teams to resolve cross-functional tradeoffs
