About this role

The role involves performing mechanical engineering work for CANDU nuclear projects, including design, documentation, and coordination with clients and suppliers. The engineer will develop piping supports, pipe sizing, and layout designs, and support field construction and commissioning activities under the guidance of a professional engineer.

Responsibilities

Perform engineering work following QA programs and applicable codes
Prepare detailed piping support and layout designs using S3D and Smart Plant Review
Develop design change packages and TSSA registration documents
Coordinate with clients, suppliers and multidisciplinary design teams
Support field construction, commissioning and closeout activities

Qualifications

Mechanical Engineering DegreeEngineer-In-Training (EIT) registrationEligibility for Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Ontario
