About this role

Stratolaunch is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the development and improvement of air-launched, hypersonic flight vehicle avionics systems. The role involves working within a multi-disciplined group to generate requirements, design, analyze, manufacture, test, and integrate avionics systems. Candidates will focus on electronics/avionics packaging and perform basic structural and thermal analyses.

Responsibilities

Design electronic enclosures and create 3D CAD models for avionics components
Perform structural, heat transfer, and thermal hand calcs and basic analyses simulations
Support manufacturing, test planning, and hardware qualification for flight testing
