About this role

The Mechanisms Deputy Lead at The Exploration Company is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the mechanisms team, ensuring task execution aligns with project milestones and budget constraints. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, overseeing supplier engagement, and transforming high-level technical direction into actionable work packages. The Deputy Lead also maintains the team’s risk register and facilitates communication between the mechanisms team and other technical teams to meet schedule and deliverable requirements in the development of the Nyx orbital vehicle.
