About this role

A Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice learns to install, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic and mechanical systems within a complex distribution center through a training program that combines classroom instruction, laboratory work, and on-the-job learning. Upon completing the 9-week training at one of four partner colleges, the apprentice is promoted to Mechatronics & Robotics Technician where they work under technical advisors on safety and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

Install, alter, and repair electronic and mechanical system components
Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on material handling equipment
Analyze technical specifications of mechatronic systems and subsystems
Collaborate with automation engineers in laboratory environments
Adhere to strict health and safety policies and procedures
