About this role

As a Medicaid Proposal Writer at Aetna, you will develop strategic, compliant responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) for the Medicaid market. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts, proposal managers, and graphic designers to create cohesive narratives that highlight company differentiation and operational strategies. You will also conduct research, manage content lifecycles, and support internal process improvements to help win and retain business.

Responsibilities

Develop strategic and compliant responses to RFPs and RFIs for the Medicaid market
Collaborate with subject matter experts to outline and prepare final proposal responses
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to formulate new content focused on client solutions
Maintain expert understanding of Aetna Medicaid products and services
Support the content management lifecycle by identifying new content for the Medicaid Content Library

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Writing, English, Communications, Healthcare Policy, or equivalent experienceAPMP Bid/Proposal Foundation Certification (preferred)
