About this role

The Medical Assistant Apprentice is a fully-paid, 12-month apprenticeship program designed to train and certify individuals as Medical Assistants within an ambulatory clinic setting. Participants will learn and practice essential administrative, clinical, and psychological skills while receiving 1:1 support from leaders, mentors, and clinical teams. The role aims to provide a clear career path into a permanent Medical Assistant position at Monument Health.

Responsibilities

Prepare examination and treatment areas per clinic standards
Perform patient rooming procedures including vital signs and data collection
Administer unit dose medications and immunizations following training
