About this role

This role functions as a patient liaison in an outpatient setting, managing patient flow, preparing exam rooms, and documenting medical information. Clinical duties include taking vitals, collecting specimens, administering Point of Care Testing, and assisting providers with procedures while ensuring patient safety and privacy.

Responsibilities

Control and monitor patient flow to maximize efficient use of resources
Prepare medical records and verify patient identifiers for accurate documentation
Perform Point of Care Testing including urine dips and glucose testing
Assist providers with physical exams, treatments, and specimen collection
Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and patient billing information
