About this role

The Medical Assistant performs daily clinical work in an outpatient pediatric setting under the direction of physicians and nurses. Responsibilities include conducting phlebotomy, administering injections, performing ECGs, managing electronic medical records, and assisting with administrative tasks and patient intake.

Responsibilities

Perform phlebotomy and process specimens under provider direction.
Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections safely.
Conduct ECGs and place Holter monitors for patient monitoring.
Update electronic medical records with patient data and changes.
Assist physicians and nurses during clinical procedures and emergencies.
