About this role

Provides direct patient care and clinical support to physicians in an outpatient setting, handling tasks such as patient intake, vital signs, EKGs, wound care, medication administration, and phlebotomy. Also performs receptionist and clerical duties, including scheduling, documentation, and billing support, while ensuring patient safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Obtain and document patient history and vital signs using EMR
Perform clinical procedures such as EKGs, wound dressings, and minor surgeries
Administer medications and complete patient tests per provider orders
Collect and process laboratory specimens and perform phlebotomy
Handle receptionist and clerical duties including scheduling, referrals, and billing
