Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant at Island Health supports primary care clinic operations by providing direct patient care, managing patient flow, and acting as a patient advocate. Working under the Clinic Manager and clinical providers, they perform clinical tasks such as vitals, specimen collection, vaccinations, and basic lab tests while ensuring safety, documentation, and compliance with clinic policies.
