Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant provides essential clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment, specializing in patient intake, pre- and post-operative care coordination, and assisting with minor in-office procedures. This role supports both General Surgery and Surgical Oncology services, requiring strong critical-thinking skills, attention to detail, and compassion for patients navigating surgical and cancer-related diagnoses. The position involves a blend of patient education, specimen handling, infection control, and care coordination within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
