Medical Coder

This role involves reviewing medical charts and documentation within the facility EMR, Epic, to ensure accurate and timely capture of physician charges. The position requires maintaining a working knowledge of coding principles and governmental regulations to code patient encounters across various specialties and settings. The coder will work with compliance managers and billing vendors to reduce denials and ensure all revenue is captured.
