The Medical Imaging Scheduler provides routine to moderately complex support tasks for medical imaging, including scheduling outpatient and emergency department services for CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Radiology. The role requires understanding patient flow, imaging procedures, and laboratory testing requirements to ensure optimal scheduling and patient care. Schedulers also handle physician orders, insurance verification, patient registration, and billing assistance while serving as a liaison for the imaging department.
