Medical Interpreter

The Medical Interpreter provides in-person and over-the-phone interpretation services for providers, patients, and caregivers to ensure clear understanding of medical terminology, treatment plans, and instructions. The role facilitates communication during inpatient and outpatient visits, interprets telephone conferences, and guides Limited-English Proficient patients to appropriate hospital resources. The position requires adherence to policy standards and collaboration with other interpreters to ensure coverage.
