Medical Oncology - Physician Scientist

About this role
The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is recruiting a physician scientist (MD or MD/PhD) in medical oncology research to join the Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care. The role emphasizes bench and translational studies, genomics, precision medicine, and therapeutics with a primary focus on mechanisms underlying the development and treatment of CNS, GU, GI, or sarcoma cancers. The faculty member will participate in collaborative research across the UW Carbone Cancer Center and broader campus research community and is expected to obtain and maintain independent extramural funding.
