About this role

This role provides independent consultation services to physicians and staff regarding the medical use of radiation within a radiation oncology department. The position involves managing all aspects of modern image-guided external beam photon therapy and HDR brachytherapy, while supporting a satellite clinic. The incumbent will share duties with other physicists and the Director of Radiation Oncology to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

Provide independent consultation services to physicians and staff regarding medical use of radiation
Support all aspects of modern image-guided external beam photon therapy and HDR brachytherapy
Perform equipment testing and quality control/quality assurance for diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine
