Medical Records Specialist

This role prepares and maintains the integrity of electronic medical records by collecting, scanning, processing, and auditing documents in a timely and accurate manner. The specialist provides excellent customer service by responding to medical record inquiries and facilitating requests for releasing personal health information in compliance with HIPAA standards. The position involves supporting administrative coordinators, managing fax and scanning operations, and ensuring the accuracy of patient care records within the EMR system.
