About this role
Coordinates initial credentialing and re-credentialing of medical staff and allied health professionals for Brown University Health affiliated hospitals, ensuring timely completion of processes and maintenance of comprehensive physician databases. Ensures consistency and compliance with The Joint Commission, CMS, hospital bylaws, and departmental staffing plans, and prepares findings for review by the Credentials Committee. Reports to the Medical Staff Services Credentials Manager and serves as a resource for Credentialing Specialist staff.
