Friends of Acadia is a Maine-based conservation nonprofit that protects and enhances Acadia National Park through private philanthropy, volunteer stewardship, education, and strong partnerships with the National Park Service. The organization funds and carries out projects such as trail and habitat restoration, visitor programs, scientific and cultural initiatives, and seasonal stewardship to address the park’s most critical needs. Friends of Acadia mobilizes donors, volunteers, and expert leadership to sustain the park’s landscapes, wildlife, and visitor experiences for future generations.
