Mental Health Technician - Pool

The Mental Health Technician assists the Registered Nurse in providing direct, indirect, and non-patient care responsibilities while contributing to quality patient care as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team. The role involves performing patient care observation rounds, vital signs, specimen collections, and treatment planning, alongside using verbal de-escalation techniques to manage disruptive patient behaviors. Additionally, the technician performs clerical functions to support the clinical operations of the unit.
