Meter Service Mechanic

The Meter Service Mechanic is responsible for installing, removing, adjusting, and repairing residential and commercial gas metering equipment, as well as handling customer-owned gas appliances and investigating gas odor or high bill complaints. This role requires reconnecting and disconnecting gas services, installing ERT devices, and performing emergency responses while maintaining effective communication with customers. The position involves working with flammable gas and operating in various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures and moderate noise levels.
