About this role
The Patient Safety Observer provides constant, direct observation of patients considered high-risk to themselves or others to maintain a safe environment. Observers sustain an unobstructed view of the assigned patient at all times (including during bathroom use and testing) and communicate any changes to the supervising Registered Nurse. The role emphasizes adherence to patient confidentiality and the organization's values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.

Qualifications
