Microbiologist IV

The Microbiologist IV will support CDC laboratory efforts to detect, characterize, and monitor respiratory viruses through diagnostic, immunological, virological, and sequencing work. The role advances public health preparedness by developing and evaluating assays, generating isolates and monoclonal antibodies, and contributing to surveillance and pathogen discovery. The position also involves maintaining laboratory quality and safety, preparing audit documentation, and contributing to scientific publications and presentations.
