This part-time Microbiologist/MLT role involves performing lab testing and associated activities within the Microbiology section, including Serology, Virology, and Parasitology. The position requires reviewing specimen management reports, troubleshooting LIS and instruments, and performing Clostridium difficile assays. The role also involves resolving client problems, maintaining quality assurance systems, and reading bacterial and viral cultures. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or MT (ASCP or equivalent preferred), an Associates degree with MLT, and at least one year of experience in Microbiology.
